In reality, though, Morcheeba is not so easily categorized. Each member manages to bring his or her own distinctive style to the band, resulting in a highly contagious hybrid equal parts soul, psychedelia and hip-hop (a style that was a "huge part" of Paul's musical education). The result, as displayed on the band's debut, Who Can You Trust, is a style that deftly straddles a startling combination of funky musical genres.
